Inventory Levels Hit 3 Million
Inventory levels in the U.S. hit 3 million vehicles, far below where they were a year ago representing north of a 590,000 vehicle variance. Total supply hasn’t been at or above 3 million since May. Currently, inventory levels represent a 70-day supply. Inventories could shrink again as an ongoing shortage of computer processing chips continue to disrupt automaker’s production schedules.
