Buick Dropping Gasoline-Powered Vehicles by 2030

Buick plans to stop selling gasoline- powered vehicles in North America by 2030 after developing a full lineup of electric vehicles. Buick will revive the Electra name for this new line of vehicles.

Buick will go all EV in a similar time frame as Cadillac and push General Motors closer to its goal of selling full electric light vehicles by 2035. With this overhaul they are also not planning to launch any new internal combustion vehicles after 2024.
