GM Recalls 484,155 SUVs

GM recalls Chevy, GMC and Cadillac SUVs for a potential defect during the seat belt assembly. Below are the vehicles affected for the model year 2021 to 2022. According to the NHTSA report there is improper forming in the third-row seat belt assembly that could lead to the belt not properly restraining occupants and increasing risk of injury.

• 97,436 GMC Yukons
• 84,338 Chevy Suburbans
• 58,606 GMC Yukon XLs
• 41,636 Cadillac Escalades
• 25,158 Cadillac Escalade ESVs
